Gears of war 4 promo codes for other games 2 out of 4 not working.

Cannot redeem 2 of the 4 sent promo codes for gears of war 1 and gears of war 3. Gears of war 2 and gears of war judgement I have redeemed. Microsoft support said that they are redeemable only on xbox 360. I cannot redeem them on microsft webpage or on the
xone console.

I got a code for gears of war 2

I got a code for gears of war 2 over a month ago as part of a promo with gears 4 and i'm not able to get the game.

 

Same as everyone else

I purchased Gears Of War 4 2 weeks ago

I haven't received my Gears Of War promo codes yet for 1,2,3, and Judgement

Be sure the region of your account is set to your physical location, cross-region accounts aren't supported and can cause trouble like the one you're describing. If you don't have a cross-region account, keep us in the loop with the error that you're receiving.

Thanks for anwsering. Well, i was with support and I live in Estonia so I cannot buy games from the market. I got 4 keys and 2 of them worked with US region and language. The other 2 do not work.

It says stuff like region and market mismatch? Whatever that means. I tried changing the region and language many times. Microsoft support said that its all good with my region settings as they were.

They said that they had a problem on their end, like server got rekt or something. They said it would be fixed soon......Oh well, been 3 weeks now

The games are region locked. In order to download them, your account region has to match your physical location and you have to live in a region where the games are available for download. Since Estonia is not a support region, the games are not available
for download there.

 

But how does that work? Why did I get 2 codes redeemed?

Hey, Abject! We do not know why some codes don't redeem while others redeem just fine. You will need to make sure that your account's region matches your physical location using the

region migration tool. If you are unable to use that successfully, or the codes still do not redeem after you do that, we cannot offer you further assistance because you live in a region where
Xbox Live is not currently supported.
