Gears of War 4 (PC) memory handling (?) problem

Dear Support,

Would you be so kind to explore my Gow4 memory handling problem?

The symptoms are the following:

- When I start to play horde mode the game freeze around wave 8-10.

- During gameplay it eats tons of memory step by step after that the game freeze. (see attachement)

- I can terminate the GOw4 process only at task manager. Windows works well. No needs to restart.

- This problem started since last Gow4 update.

- I reinstalled the Windows, and the game too. But no results. The PC always up to date.

- All other games run properly. (GTA5, Assassins Creed Unity, StarCraft2, Diablo3, The Crew, FSX, Sniper Elite 3 etc.)

Misc info:

i7-4770K, 16GB/1600MHz, 240GB SSD+1TB HDD, Asus GTX1080

OS: Windows 10 64-bit (10.0, Build 17134) (17134.rs4_release.180410-1804)

Xbox One X Enhanced Titles

I was unaware of that, thought the limited memory on the Xbox One meant that high quality assets were never present hence why games like Gears of War 4, Quantum Break and Rise of the Tomb Raider received additional 20Gb+ texture packs.

 

Your favorite third person shooter?

Gears of War 1. Oh the memories.

 

I'm on PC too, and I have the same problem with GoW4 PC version. Please help us solve this issue
