    Gears of War 4 on PC refuses to download


    Hello.

    I bought the PC version of GoW4 roughly two weeks ago, and since I've been trying to make it download. At first I thought it was because of the Windows Store glitching out due to my slow 13Mb/s ADSL Connection, but now I'm on a 250Mb/s Connection and the
    problem still persists; it gets stuck randomly, sometimes after only 15MB has been downloaded, sometimes after 200MB has been downloaded.

    I've tried completely removing the downloaded files and restarting the download to no avail. Other people are apparently having the same issue, and I've read answers from Microsoft themselves saying that I should make sure that I have enough space available,
    the harddrive I'm trying to install it to currently has over two TB free, so that shouldn't be an issue.

    Everything else from the store downloads and installs as it should.

    Pre-Ordered content not appearing in store.

    So I have the anniversary update for windows 10, but I stil don't have the option to download gears of war 4 on my pc. Is this something you cant preload on pc, and I have pre ordered the normal edition of gears on the xbox one. When I look in the store
    on pc, under my games nothing shows up. Can anyone help?

    Hey there,

    Don't fret, all Xbox Play Anywhere games such as Gears of War 4 play on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. First, make sure your Windows 10 PC has been fully updated with the Anniversary Update. You can find Windows updates by searching 'Check for updates'
    within the Start menu.

    Once you've done that, open the Windows Store and navigate to the Gears of War 4 product page to install the game. You must be signed into the same Microsoft Account that owns the Gears of War 4 license to be able to download and install the game on Windows
    10.

    The Xbox One S console comes with a download code for Gears 4, which should give you the online messages download codes for Gears 1-3.

    The fine print on the console says that "to qualify [for Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3 and Gears of War: Judgment] purchase and play Gears of War 4 on Xbox Live by 31 December 2016. Must be 17+" -- Have you played Gears 4 on Xbox Live yet?
