Gears of War 4 now available Oct 6th.

So, went to my local GameStop and they claimed that Microsoft is allowing a midnight release on 10/6/16 instead of the 7th. This does not mean we can play on the 6th, this just means we can set it up and download the game so on the 7th we can play at midnight.
I specifically asked about a midnight release and my store will be having one on the 6th.

Bought GoW console, still no GoW 360 codes.

Purchased Gears of War console on Oct 12th. Redeemed GoW 4 Ultimate Edition code. It has now been over a month now and still haven't received Gears 360 collection.

It looks like a lot of people are having the same issue. Has anyone found a resolution for this?

 

Yeah this has been happening lately with the newer games coming out but I believe you should be able to play just before midnight. The digital release for gears 4 ultimate edition is on the 6th at 11pm and it is now completely downloaded and ready to go.

 

I picked up my Limited Gears Console this morning and the full game dlc was in there so i started to install the 54.6gb. I then rang xbox notso helpful support and she told me that the game will be playable at 9pm AU time 6/10/16 and its now 9.50pm and still
waiting. I hate false info that xbox always gives you. Ill just keep hitting the A button til it plays.

I want to apologize for the misinformation, but apparently the 6/10/16 date that the rep. told you is for the gears of war live event. The game would be playable at 11/10/16 and 07/10/16 for those who pre-ordered the game.

You are wrong. If you preordered the console OR the ultimate edition, you get to play on the 7th. You are misinformed. The normal game comes out on the 10th.

Yes you might be right but I clearly told the uninformed xbox rep that I had installed the full game after waiting 7hrs of installing 54.6gb and clearly told her that yesterday the 6/10/16 that I was able to play the full game and she she said to me clearly
that yes on the 6/10/16 at 9pm AEST I am able to play MY FULL game. I rang again this morn 7/10/16 and lodged a formal complaint against the false info she gave me and they are investigating why she lied to me straight up. I have the gears console and the
linited collectors edition and the loot box and the full size lance and the socks,shoes,hats,shirts,wallets,beanies and ather gears goodies as I am a huge fan from day 1,also went to the launch party in sydney for gears 3 a few years ago and meet and chatted
with Cliffy B so when I take about gears realese dates or when I can play the full game I am 100% right on the full understanding form xbox notsohelpful support. I will now wait for the outcome of this investigation.

They might want to fix the PC version issues. You can't even download it. Console version works though thankfully.
