Gears of War 4 Marcus not dropping platform

In act 4 part 1, get out, marcus is supposed to hack a platform. It drops, we continue. He is just standing there. I’ve restarted chapter, quit and restarted game, and restarted console. I even came back to it a few hours later, same result.

Any ideas??

I restarted the CHAPTER not just the checkpoint and happy days!!! I’m on to the next part!!!

Our suggestion here, please attempt to uninstall and install the game on your console as this glitch may be due
to corruption on the game.

This did not solve the problem,unfortunately. I did an uninstall of the game, reinstalled.tried the mission. No success. I then tried on a second console, hoping that pulling from the cloud on another machine may help. Same faulty result.....
