Hello MrMihnea, have you checked if you have the latest version of Windows installed, at 21H2, because recently came out the latest update to Windows 10 and 11.

Updates often seen as optional, Microsoft released major fixes this week, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed.

Although I had already the 21H2 version installed I decided to reinstall it and after getting the latest update through Windows Update it finally works

The trial, based on the article, is taking place over a decade ago, with the actions that got Kilo in trouble being told via flashbacks and narration during the trial. So there's zero problem with squeezing everything in before the events of the first Gears
trilogy. As for Gears of War 4, there won't be a Gears 4 in terms of a direct sequel to it, so whether Baird and Cole would have anything to do with it is questionable. As Epic said, Gears of War 3 was the end of that trilogy, and of Dom and Marcus's story,
so it's possibly that Cole and Baird could be involved in a Gears of War 4 type game, but the ending of Gears 3 doesn't leave much room for a sequel, like the article says.

Hello you can use the 14 day trial and then add on the 3 month code once the trial has ended. It won't stack on the trial.

As for gears of war, as long as you play it before December 31st you will receive the other game code via XBL message free of charge. Here's a good link that explains it

Hi There, thanks for your response. Looks like the issue is with the bundle itself. Microsoft has fixed it for me and I am now able to download gears of war 4

To answer your question though, when I searched gears of war 4 in the store, the download/install option was not there. It was either try the free trial or purchase the game. Its all good now though. Thanks
