    Gears of War 4 Code from Xbox One X Purchase


    I'm unsure if I'm jumping the gun on this but I can not seem to find an answer looking on the web for any mention of my situation. I bought the Xbox One X Gold Rush bundle during the black friday sale 2018. Stated front and center is "
    Bonus Gears of War 4 digital code ". Looking at the bottom for offer parameters, it states:

    "Offer valid from 9:00 PM PST on November 21, 2018 to 11:59 PM PST on December 25, 2018, while supplies last. Available only in Microsoft retail and online store in the United States (including Puerto Rico). Offer
    valid only on select Gears of War 4 Standard Edition Digital Code after purchase of select Xbox One consoles. Excludes Xbox One S Minecraft Creators bundle, refurbished and pre-order consoles. After your purchase, you'll receive a digital code at the email
    address associated with your purchase within 10 business days of promotion end date..."

    My initial read of this was that after December 25th it would take 10 business days for the code to be delivered. Due to never having dealt with such an offer I've read posts years ago where promotions from xbox seem to take anywhere from a few hours to 2 months
    to reach the buyer.

    My question ultimately is: Do I simply wait for December 25th and 10 business days after or contact support directly as an error has occurred and did not send me a code? Is this even the proper channel for such a question?

    To qualify for this promotion, you just need to purchase and/or redeem Gears of War 4 on Xbox Live by December 31, 2016. The game tokens for download will be sent in waves through Xbox Live in-dash message system within one month of redemption/purchase of
    Gears of War 4. So the codes will appear, they just are being sent out in waves. If you're not seeing the codes after 30 days from when you first played, please create a new post and we'd be happy to take a closer look into this. You can find more information

    That just means you had to redeem/purchase Gears of War 4 by December 31, 2016. The codes for the prior games will be sent to you within the next 30 days and will be valid when they arrive. :)
