Gears of War (360) save issue on XBox One

Hello,

I recently started playing the original Gears of War (360 version, not Ultimate Edition) on a friends XBox One.

I signed in with my account there, so I could use the cloud saves on my XBox One later and initially it worked great. I resumed the game on my XBox where I left of on the other one and completed about half the game.

But when I started the game today something was off. I was still at the checkpoint where I was before, but I was missing some tags you can collect in the game.

At first I thought it was some kind of glitch, but when I went back to the main menu to replay chapters, I saw that all my progress after saving on my friends XBox was gone.

So i restarted the game and it was again reset to the cloud save. What is really weird is that I can resume the at the last checkpoint of my latest progress, but everything else is gone.

Now my question is of course how I can save my progress? Im kinda sure that I was signed in with my profile all the time. I mean it wouldnt sync the save back to the original state all the time if I wasnt signed in, right?

Any help is very appreciated.

EDIT: I now tried deleting the 360 cloud save, the local 360 data and the local savegame, but it STILL resets me to this weird state everytime i restart the game. Really dont know what to do now.

Gears of War 3 DLC licensing issue

Apologies for the delayed reply! On your Xbox 360 console, do you still have the Gears of War 3 beta save file when you check your save files? If so, try

syncing that save to the cloud and launch Gears of War 3 on your Xbox One console to check if the skins appear. Be sure to check Gears of War 3's 'Manage game' screen to see if any additional content appears in 'Ready to install'.

If you do not have the Gears of War 3 beta save on your Xbox 360, unfortunately the skins will not work on the Xbox One. We are unable to provide this content if this is the case.

 

Gears of War 3 Player Data Questions on Xbox ONE.

1. If you have your Gears 3 player data/campaign saves synced with the Cloud on Xbox ONE, play some of it and then load it on your 360 with Cloud saves activated, is any new progress you made whilst playing on your Xbox ONE lost or does it carry over allowing
you to backup your stats on the 360???

2. Everyone knows the method of creating backup copies of your player data/campaign saves for Gears 3 and Gears: Judgement on 360 by now. Knowing that this is possible due to the Gears servers storing your data, does this mean that if you start up Gears
3 on the Xbox ONE whilst connected to Live, the servers will carry over your stats???

 

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
the console.

Hi, unfortunately that didnt solve the issue. I made sure I was signed in this time, selected "Cloud storage" as save device, but it reset me again after restarting the game.
