Gears of War 3 Rank Reset

My account got reset too about a month ago from the highest level to level 1. I went to play Gears and it said there was an update so when I updated the game my rank was reset. I feel like I just bought the game and have to get all the ribbons, metals etc
all over again. It still irritates me to this day but there's nothing I can do about it.

 

I actually only got dropped about 20 levels in ranking and that was it from what i noticed...

 

I had this issue. And they won't seem to find a way to reset me. The sad thing is...most of all this information is on their servers. >_>...so they know how far I've gotten.

I'm also having issues because now, one of the DLC packs which I HAVE ACHIEVEMENTS UNLOCKED FOR, is showing 9.99 meaning I have a DLC now not showing up on my account. I'm not rebuying something I already paid for.

My rank got reset a whike back the only thing I'm *** about is i dont have my flaming retro lancer!!!!

 

It is always important to make a "backup copy" of your profile either through another storage device or through a cloud save.

How I managed to backup my profile data is after when I am about to log off and turn off my console, go to options, then "storage location", then choose another storage device or the cloud if a storage device isn't available, then basically select that "storage
device" and it will back out to the start screen.

Just have to play a "private versus game" which it can be any one, just wait until the match starts up and quit out and it should show the "reading/writing data to leaderboards" which means the "new data" is written onto the "storage device" to protect against
resets.

I have been lucky I haven't been reset, but it is always important to not try and use the same "storage device" or the backup won't work.

Just want to get the word out on how to backup "profile data" if anyone isn't aware.

 

Off the subject but Gears is one of my fav games but I stop playing because the online was plagued with players from Mexico and the contention was terrible. Is it still bad?

 

My rank was reset and I lost everything was level 100. now I have since regained everything back but no matter what can not level up my command center past level 2 even though I had all of them previously and I can never win the for the horde achievement
EVER... cant they fix this? c'mon guys you're ruining the best game by not bothering to fix this...

 

My Stats and data except from the campaign have also been reset, says ive played in all of the events and at the same time looks like ive never ben on the game

 

What I don't understand is that why have a bug in the game that resets everything? That irritates the crap out of me because I just lost everything in this game that I worked so hard to accomplish!!! I don't understand how you let something like this slip!!!!!!

 

I think these freezes is because Gears is very CPU/GPU demanding and there is a problem with how the cooler is fastened (X-CLAMP) so the XBOX get overheated, I believe SLIM is more sensitive.

And this will make a harddisc error to the gears user file.

If you delete the HDD file and copy from your cloud to the HDD you'll get the latest synced data.

(Make a backup from the cloud to a USB stick once in a while)

The solution is:

Fix the X-CLAMP (xbox-experts.com) have the best solution.

Fix the fan speed with (www.facebook.com/CircuitSurgery)

This have worked for me.

You could also change the fan to a Talismoon whisper as a last fix.
