Gears of War 3 (Login Problem)

SYNOPSIS:

This issue is with playing Gears of War 3 multiplayer on the Xbox One. I have been in contact with multiple Microsoft agents, however, none of them have had a solution. Today they finally officially gave up and credited my account () $30 as a
means to an end I suppose. This solution is problematic for a couple reasons...

1) They credited the account that doesn't work (assuming their intention was for me to buy it again on another account)

2) $30 buys the base game but not the season pass or gold for another account

3) I would highly prefer not having to create another account

PROBLEM STATED:

1) On the Xbox One, I start Gears of War 3 (digital download acquired through Gears Ultimate Edition)

2) At the start menu I push start

3) I am brought to the main menu and put in a 'party type: local'

4) I push the back button to change type to Joinable Public/ Joinable Friends/ Invite-Only

a) They are all greyed-out

5) I click on one of them anyway and I get a message, "Your current gamer profile settings do not allow playing online games. To continue, all players must have settings that allow online play."

COURSE OF ACTION:

As I stated before, I have spoken to several Microsoft agents and troubleshooted to the point of deleting and reformatting my entire Xbox, profile, harddrive, and game data. The only lead for a solution that they all knew was to call Microsoft Studios.

Microsoft Studios does not have a number online, nor does it have a number that Microsoft Support has access to. In essence, they are a ghost department.

After posting desperately on the forums for a solution, I was sent here by 'aka Scratch'.

CONCLUSION:

I have been in contact with Microsoft Support for a little over a month now and I have exhausted every troubleshooting option they offer multiple times.

It is not a problem with my settings or my 'live' because EVERY other game works including the other gears games.

Ideally, the best solution would be to fix this bug on my account so I don't need to sign in and out of multiple accounts (or buy another account) every time I want to play 1 specific game with my friends.

Hopefully somebody can point me in the direction of Microsoft Studios, as they seem to be the only solution.

I guess my conclusion wasn't as clear as I had wished even though I practically bullet pointed the whole thing.

I am not being helped by Microsoft.

They tried to buy me off and didn't even pay the full price of what it would take to replace.
