Gears of War 3 DLC not appearing in my XBox One Install Menu

Discus and support Gears of War 3 DLC not appearing in my XBox One Install Menu in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I got sent my Gears codes from playing the ultimate edition and Gears 3 downloaded fine.     Gears of War 3 DLC not appearing in my XBox One Install Menu


    I got sent my Gears codes from playing the ultimate edition and Gears 3 downloaded fine. An in game msg told me to begin playing I needed to download the DLC. When I did, it told me it would appear in my ready to install menu. It hasn't appeared yet, I'm
    not sure what the problem is.

    Hey there Vinymac15!

    Sorry to hear about the issue! Just to clarify which pre-order character are you unable to see on your Xbox One console? Also, are you checking for the character while selecting Gears of War 3 and pressing Manage game in the My Games & Apps section? Unfortunately,
    you will not be able to install content on your Xbox 360 via USB on your Xbox One. If you are still unable to see character in the Ready to Install section, I suggest trying the following steps:

    • First, uninstall Gears of War 3 by navigating to My Games & Apps.
    • Under the Games tab, select Gears of War 3 and press the Menu button.
    • Select Manage Game and then select Uninstall.
    • After the game has uninstalled, press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
    • Once your console has powered off, wait a few minutes and then power on your console.
    • Navigate back to My Games and Apps, then under the Games tab check for Gears of War 3 in the Ready to Install section.
    • Select Gears of War 3 and then select Install.
    • Once the game has been installed, select Gears of War 3 again and press the Menu button.
    • Select Manage Game and check for the missing character in the Ready to Install section.
    Give the suggested steps a try and be sure to let us know the results. Thanks in advance!

    Confused about Backwards compatability and DLC

    I haven't tested it myself, but what I've read leads me to believe the bolded part is correct.

    Gears of war 4 pre order issue

    As a quick little bump, did you check Gears of War: Ultimate Edition's 'Ready to install' list for any pending DLC that needs to be installed? To find this, highlight the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition tile, press the Menu button on your Xbox One controller
    and select 'Manage game'.

    Additionally, are you able to search for the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition Character Pack on the Xbox Store to download?

    Hi! Are you playing on Xbox 360 or Xbox One? If on Xbox One, make sure the DLC is installed by going to your 'Games & apps', highlighting Gears of War 3 and select 'Manage' by pressing the start-/menu-button on your controller. If the DLC is installed, perform

    Adam Fenix Glitch Gears of War 4..Help!!!!!

    It appears to be a conflict with Gears of War ultimate edition DLC.

    Because Adam Fenix is actually DLC for Gears of War Ultimate edition.

    Installing the brothers to the end uninstall the adam fenix pack in Gear of war Ultime edition

    Reinstalling the adam fenix pack will uninstall the brothers to end from gears of war 4
