    Gears of War 3 connecting to foreign servers


    I live on the east coast and for some reason I always connect to Mexican servers and other countries like India. when my friends search for a game they always get matched with US players. Any solution to this can it be my connection?

    Gears of War Ultimate Edition Xbox One

    Only Gears of War 3 was supposed to run on dedicated servers.
    Maybe Judgment, but not the first two.
    I remember the first game kicking you when the host left.

    This is quite strange, as I have never actually come across this before. Not even when I used to play online a lot. Would you be able to tell us what region you have set your account to?

    Is it just happening in Gears of War 3?

    Or is it happening in any other game as well?
