Gears of War 3 Cannot Play Online?

Hi guys(first post),

I have a gold membership for xbox live, but can not seem to play online with Gears of War 3. The error message: "Your current gamer profile settings do not allow playing online games. To continue, all players must have settings that allow online play." This
is very frustrating because I have a gold account. Should I buy another 1yr Gold Membership and try again? Xbox support didn't know what to do.

Cannot Play Gears of War 3

Same thing here got gow 3 and it comes up play game on the dashboard and when i do the game gets disc error it wont even start.I tried 2 of my friends copys and they wouldent work.I took my copy to a friends and it worked on theres!!

All my other games work perfect i cant understand this.Microsoft is giving us no answers.Its not your xbox r the disc i think microsfft r epic changed the disc format and it wont work on certain consoles.I dont know what do

 

Cannot Play Gears of War 3

More than likely your console will need to be sent in for repair. Sounds like your DVD drive is experiencing issues. Gears3 is working fine for the masses.

 

Hey,

Did you checked if anyone else is logged in? On X360 when you do have Gold membership and someone else is logged in without it it may cause such a problem.

Yeah I checked, but I seem to have the same problem. I received a new code for Gears of War 3 that I have not redeemed yet. Maybe this could solve the issue?
