Gears of War 2 Photojournalist achievement is unobtainable

The Photojournalist achievement in Gears of War 2 has been unobtainable since Microsoft acquired the Gears of War franchise. Frankly, its just embarrassing to have an unobtainable achievement in a franchise that the company wholly controls.

I know that this has been reported by other players. My hope is that more reports will garner more attention to the problem.

The Photojournalist achievement in Gears of War 2 has been unobtainable since Microsoft acquired the Gears of War franchise. Frankly, it is embarrassing for them to have an unobtainable achievement in a franchise that the company wholly controls.

I know that this has been reported by other players. My hope is that more reports will garner more attention to the problem.

 

there is no attention to old games, so you would have to live with it. either unlock everything as soon as possible or servers may be taken off, this would just be a different reasoning but the same result.

 

Microsoft just acquired the franchise this year and the server hosting the images went offline in late June. Multiplayer is still up. No mention was made to the service being switched off, which could indicate that it was just overlooked during the switchover.

The point remains that Microsoft should not have an unobtainable achievement in a franchise that it owns.

 

Well that's Microsoft for you, they put the blame on EPIC games, I wouldn't be suprised if there support staff didn't even know that they owned Gears Of War.
