Gears of War 2 on Xbox one Freezing

After the most recent update on XBOX ONE my gears of war 2 has quit working. I go to load the game and it freezes on the "press start" screen. Has anyone else had this issue?

Gears of War 2 Freezing on Xbox One

When i try to play this game it was freezing on main menu and crash to dashboard

I don't know why

i read of many sites has the problem is gamertag

but i don't know how fixed it

Freezing On The Main Menu

I've been having this problem with Gears of War 2 where the game keeps freezing at the main menu whenever I try to play. I have tried another Gears 2 disc, and clearing the cache, and it still freezes. The game works fine with the other profiles on my Xbox
360, it just seems to be mine that it keeps freezing on. Is there any way I can fix this problem?

Yeah I've also had this issue, really sucks cause I just bought all the dlc and was wanting to play the road to ruin deleted scene

I have also had this issue, Deleted save data then the game. Reinstalled it but it still does the same freeze as you have mentioned.

I have this on my and a friends console so it must be a problem with the cloud save, Shame we arent able to access that.

I have the same issue as well. I have tried everything including the Training trick but can't get it to work on the Xbox One.

i don't know any ways to fix this i have tried everything and my game still freezes i bought the gears of war 4 xbox and love gears of war and rn i can't play gears of war 2

Yes, I have 2 new good looking copies of gears 2 and just yesterday was playing it on my brother's xbox 360.

Then today I played a bit of it before deciding to update the 360, but then after the update his xbox began freezing on gears 2 just like my 360.

I tested all my other games (a fairly large collection) with both xboxes to make sure that they worked, and all but gears 2 was fine.

Even gears of war 1 and gears of war 3 work. Only gears 2 freezes.

I don't know what to do besides contact you guys about it, I really love gears of war 2 and not being able to play it anymore is devastating.

I'm trying to take my son threw the whole Gears of War Saga and Gears of War 2 freezes when it loads so I can't take him any further is there anyway this can be fixed so we can continue on with the Saga? I will not continue any of the Gears of War with him
if he can't finished part 2. I own all the Gears of War but won't continue playing them if he can't finish part 2
