    Gears of war 2 EXP


    How much experience will i get weekly by just playing Horde Mode? How much do i get per match and will i be able to reach level 100 by next year ? im level 59 and is it too late int he life cycle of this game?

    the only reason im going back to gears 2 is because of horde and crazy EXP events so i can hit lvl 100 plus horde is always fun.

    Fear not guys, it's only a matter of time before EPIC do a 25x XP event for Gears 3. That's how 90% of Gears 2 players got to 100.

    Level 16 in Gears 3 (only had the game a week)

    Level 47 in Gears 2 from pretty much playing Horde exclusively - and bear in mind EXP wasn't added to Horde til much later on.

    Gears of war 2 EXP

    You get 1000 xp for completing a wave on insane difficulty. You're a little bit ahead of me (I'm only level 51 I think) but from memory, getting from level 51 to 52 was going to take about 40 waves each at 1000 xp (if that makes sense). I pretty much start
    on wave 1, usually die on about wave 4, start from beginning wave, rinse and repeat.

    As long as you can always get xp offline in horde mode, then you should be able to grind out 41 more levels in about 6 months...

    According to a Twitter post by Joe Graf, it is somewhere within the range of 8 million EXP but they won't give an exact number as it will change as they assess how fast people are levelling up.

    Level 90 is only about half way to level 100, also according to that Twitter post.

    To put that in perspective, Gears of War 2 Level 80 was about half way, and about 6.8 million EXP was required for level 100. But keep in mind that more EXP is earned per game in Gears 3 due to bonuses, etc.
