Gears Of War 2 - Crash/Freeze - Unplayable?

My wife and I have decided to replay the Gears of War series on the Xbox One, and we completed Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition, so we fired up the Digital Copy of Gears Of War 2 and started our co-op campagn, suddenly a couple hours in, the game black screened
on us, and we had to hard boot the Xbox to get back in, now whenever her profile is active, the game hard locks with a buzzing sound.

If I log in under my profile, the game gets past the long "Configuring network" message to the main menu, where I presumably could start the game, however, upon logging my wife's profile in the system will hard lock immediatly.

I'm unsure how to clear her profile, or otherwise fix this issue, I've read a number of things online for correcting this issue but I've had no luck. I did move the game from the external to the internal drive to try to correct it, but I have not had luck
yet.

I do have a 360, but I don't have the physical disks,

Am I screwed?

Gears of War: Freeze and Crash After Last Update?

My Gears of War 3 also freezes and then crashes the whole console.
