Gears of War 2 Black Friday discount not working

Gears of War 2 discount is not properly showing. It showed correctly on Thursday, but it hasnt showed the proper price since yesterday, and support has recognized to me when I contacted them, that this is an issue with
that game. Yet, Xbox is not acknowledging it in his "Xbox Live status page" or their twitter accounts.

In fact, they are still acting like nothing is happening, and tweeting the offer about the game.

All I see is them remaining silent about the issue...

Black friday price for GoW 2 RAISED?!

Today is black friday and all throughout the week Gears of War 1-2 and 3 were 4.99$ but now that it's black friday it's self Gears of War 2 jump up to 20$!! I was gonna buy it for 4.99$ today since it's BLACK FRIDAY but NO for some reason they RAISED the
price and kept both the other ones the same. I don't know why the heck they did this but it's bull!

 

The Gears of War discount is available through Dec 1 but is only available to Xbox Live Gold membership holders. This would be why you cannot see the discount.

 

You are not goldand its is a gold only promotion

Trial codes don't change your statusto gold or give you full gold benefits just temporary multiplayer access mostly non ranked

 

It is not a gold promotion, just like Gears of War 1 and 3 are not (and those are showing their discounts)

EDIT: As I said before, the discount was showing on Thursday (the day the offers started). It is currently not.

blog as well. The offer is for Gold member holders only. However I could see where the page is misleading. What I would suggest just to be sure though is send a message to @xboxsupport on Twitter to ensure the deal is for all.

As I said, the rest of the offer are there to me. The quote you are using is refering to the games under Xbox Live Gold Members offers, which offers were introduced on Friday 28, like Fifa 15, who is 50% off to Gold Members, and is NOT avaliable to me as
it shouldnt be, because im not a gold member as you are saying.

However, the offers Im talking about are from 25 to 1, and are for everyone. As I said, I bought Gears of War 1 with his discount without any problem, and Gears 2 appeared with the same discount on Thursday. The problem is Gears 2 is not showing the discount
anymore, and it should be, as it is listed in the offers page.

And as you can see, cbc1980 is a gold user, and the discount is not showing to him neither.

 

Just did a chat with support. They had me buy it at $19.99 and refunded me $15.00.

Give that a shot.

 

I have talked to them in two ocassions and they told me they are gonna fix the problem. Nothing yet...

And no, I cant buy it for 20 bucks because I dont have them in my account.

 

They finally fixed the price.

However Im very disappointed about Xbox not adressing the error anywhere.

Also, Im mad about one of the guys at support (from Spain), who treated me like *** and close the support chat with me without answering my questions.
