Gears of War 1 Code Not Working

I got a copy of GOW UE with my XB1 on Black Friday. I played the game in December and was then sent promo download codes for GOW1, GOW2, GOW3, and GOW Judgment in early January. I was able to redeem them all EXCEPT the GOW1 code. Every time I'd try it
I'd get an error and told to check back later. Did so for a couple of days, but it never worked.

I went to retry the code today, but realized I must have deleted the message that contained it. Can someone at Microsoft verify that I never used the code and please resend me a working code for GOW1? Thanks!

I got the 4 codes for the Gears of War collection that came free from purchasing Xbox One S 1TB Gears of War 4. But Gears of War 1 and Gears of War 3 codes are not working.

i use codes but the codes for "gears of war 3 and 1" just dont work! what should i do?

This seems no longer to be true.

Games purchased from other regions will play if physical disk, but any connected download codes will not work.

There are issues for example with the Gears of War 1-3 codes (included with Gears of War collection) and the Fallout 3 codes (that came with Fallout 4).

I have 3 Codes:

"Gears of War", "Gears of War 3" and "Gears of War: Judgment".

I just tried to reenter the codes. The "Gears of War 3"-Code and "Gears of War: Judgment"-Code works!

Only the "Gears of War"-Code doesn't work.

I get these Message:

Same issue for me. I have been able to redeem codes for Gears of War 3 and Gears of War Judgement, but haven't been able to redeem Gears of War 1 and Gears of War 3. I also tried in microsoft.com/redeem with my Xbox associated account and didn't work either.

Could someone advise on how to proceed further?
