Gears of War 1 and 3 Codes

I know many users have reported the same problem... I am just tired of going through Microsoft customer service again and not getting this situation resolved.

Since Gears of War 4 release I’ve been trying to redeem the codes for the original Gears of War, and
Gears of War 3, included as codes with my copy of the fourth installment in the series.

As a newcomer to the series, the digital games included were the reason I pre-ordered the game in the first place, and it is a shame I still fail to redeem these games. The codes seem to expire soon, and I feel robbed by the Microsoft Online Store.

Bear in mind that the last time I contacted costumer service about the issue (after several times), the only suggestion they rudely gave me was to try to redeem the codes in a Xbox 360, which is unacceptable, since I tried everywhere, and no one in my social
circle, or anywhere I looked seems to still own one.

(On a related note, my Banjo Kazooie Pre-Order incentive code for ReCore is also nonredeemable. Microsoft has to fix their Code Redeem system).

Cant redeem all the codes of Gears of War 4

Cannot redeem code of Gears of War 1 and Gears of War 3

I got the Gears of War 4 with 4 codes for the titles

Gears of War

Gears of War 2

Gears of War 3

Gears of War Judgment

i managed to redeem only Gears of War 2 and Gears of War Judgment. Why?Cannot redeem code of Gears of War 1 and Gears of War 3

I played gears of war 4 which was meant to come with gears of war 1, 2 ,3. & judgement. and but The gears of war 1, 3 code does not work. (2, Judgement code available) Please can you resend a valid code?

 

Does your account region match your physical location? Gears 1 and 3 are region locked. In order to download them your account region has to match your physical location and you have to be in a region where the game is available.

 

Yes, I bought it in the USA, and tried redeeming the codes in the USA. It isn't a Region Lock error, it is a recurrent thing with Microsoft issued codes, this has affected countless users, with no appropriate Costumer Service response. I've lost count on
how many times I either tried redeeming the codes, or to solve this through Microsoft Support. The closest they ever game me to a "Solution" is to try to redeem the codes on a Xbox 360 instead.

Could you post the specific error code you're receiving? This sort of issue mostly occurs when your Xbox Live account region doesn't match the region
you're physically located in. If you're physically located in the USA or any other Xbox Live supported region, please migrate your Xbox Live account region to your physical region using our
Xbox Live Account Migration Tool and let us know how it goes. If you migrate your account to a region you're not located in, this issue will continue to occur.

 

Thank You. I used the Xbox Live Account Migration Tool, and changed it to United States (even though I purchased both Xbox One, Gears of War 4 on the USA, and tried redeeming the codes here as well). I must have made the account on my time abroad. Anyway,
thank you, and I can't believe no one else on costumer service ever mentioned that it was a
location problem, all they said is "we are working on it", and "try redeeming them on a Xbox 360".
