Gears of 3 Crashing

I have combed many forums on this matter and I have tried everything humanly possible from my end. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have deleted my system's cache. Any possible solution from my end I have tried to no avail. All I can assume is the problem
lies in my save file. My save file unexpectedly reset one day back in 2014 for Gears of War 3 that was 3 years into the game's lifespan. All of my achievements were completed still but the challenges reset as if I never completed them. At the time I did not
pay much attention to it since I could less about skins and ranks I simply picked up from Level 1 again and continued to play. I now realize that perhaps this could be the root of the problem. This happend on my Xbox 360 and it still happens on my Xbox One
S to this very day. Gears of War 3 will start up all fine and normal. Sometimes I make it pass the start menu other times I crash before my save file has chance to load. This annoying inconvenience makes me think Microsoft is unable to do what Epic did effortlessly.
If you have any solution please post here though chances are I have already tried it. Connection and stability are not the problem either trust me I have checked.

My Gears of War 3 also freezes and then crashes the whole console.

If this is happening on multiple consoles, then i too think it may be a corrupted save file. As the poster above suggested, you could try deleting it and starting a new save.

Another way to test may be to create a test profile and starting a new save / new game with the test profile. If the game works fine, then it is likely your save file causing the issues.

Yes I have I was pleased to see that another profile with a fresh save worked and made it past the start menu. I am curious now. It could be a corrupted save file or it could because some of the DLC that was downloaded on my Xbox 360 is not downloaded
or purchased on my Xbox One S. The missing DLC was purchased on a different account on my Xbox 360 at the time so I only had access to it because it was shared throughout the Xbox 360. Should I purchase the missing DLC to check if my main profile would load
properly or should I continue troubleshooting without it?

Hi. It may look like you need to erase your game save if it is corrupting it. You could try uninstalling it completely and then reinstall it. Hopefully that should work. If not, you might want to contact Support at Xbox.com and fill out the form to state
your issues with that game.
