Gears is Here!

Played a bit last night. Either the shotgun is more OP than it used to be or I'm just out of practice lol

 

I got the golden weapons for signing in today. Was there a different reward yesterday? 'Cause I'd hate to find out that I missed out on something because of a stupidly ambiguos dual-code...

 

There are different weapon skins every day GG.

 

GG they annonced today that if u play the beta twice u get ALL skins etc

 

^Define play it twice? Twice on two separate days, twice as in just two matches? If it's two separate days is it actually completing matches on those two days? Better yet, do you just have a link to that information? Haha.

I played for the first time yesterday and it was pretty fun. It's a lot smoother then the original, but still not as good as gears 3. I don't think they've done anything to the shotgun and if they have then it's weaker if anything, I'm finding it much harder
not aiming with the shotgun then I did with Gears 3.

Due to many issues with folks getting into the beta due to code receiving and redeeming issues, we have decided to make all weapons skins for the beta available to all users who have participated in the beta for at least two days at any point during its'
duration (does not need to be consecutive days). Additionally, as of Day 4 in the beta we will now make all past Beta skin unlocks available for use throughout the rest of the beta's duration.

Though you know what's silly? I'm scrambling for these skins when I don't even know if I want to buy this remaster, can't hurt to have them in case though.

 

For the campaign alone, I'll be purchasing the Ultimate Edition. Would love to play all of them again, from the beginning to the end; especially with the upgraded graphics and visuals.

 

Gears 3 was the worst MP of them all!!

 

Haha, nah I loved it! Though I mean more in regards to how the characters move, climb over cover, dodge roll, it just doesn't feel as smooth as gears 3 which is why I personally thought it was the best. I think I'm out of practice as well, I did get a sweet
shotgun kill on someone who missed a boomshot!

But I'm guessing some people didn't like the sawn off huh? Haha.

 

I hate gears online i always get people down then i either get killed or someone takes my kill but ill try it iv been on the beta and doing ok

 

That's why you need a solid team to work together and watch backs, my team were/are great and we had a wicked win/loss ratio. Playing on your own with randoms is a waste of time in my opinion as you may get a sweet kill only to be gibbed by someone behind
you due to lack of warning. As you may notice from my gamercard I quite like Gears but have only played a few matches in the beta because of the random element. Rolling with a solid team and having established tactics makes Warzone the best MP experience
ever in my book.

But then again I was pretty bad at the others too. But I really enjoyed the gamemodes Gears 2 and 3 brought. But I still enjoy the beta. It looks so much better on X1.

 

It does look good, although the sea swell on Gridlock was a bit sick inducing.

 

I never really got into Gears MP, but I messed around a little last night and it was really fun. It looks awesome too.
