Also, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will have access to the Ultimate Edition of Gears 5.

Gears of War 5 (Standard) will be available on September 10 on Retail, Digital or Xbox Game Pass!

Gears Of War 5 Ultimate Edition will be available on September 6 (This Friday) on Retail, Digital or Xbox Gamepass Ultimate.

Someone here may be able to help … first, a few questions.

Do you have Game Pass Ultimate? Game Pass for PC alone will not grant access to Ultimate Edition. If you just have Game Pass PC, you'll have to wait until September 10 to be able to play, unless you have purchased Gears 5 UE outright.

Next, is your system fully updated, both Windows 10 and Gears 5 UE? The game should have downloaded a small unlock file to enable access based on whatever access you had (Game Pass Ultimate, or purchasing the game).
