    I tried launching Gears 5 today on the xbox beta app for windows 10 and I got a weird error message. (Failed to open descriptor file '../../GearGAme/GearGame.uproject)

    That's where a separate anti cheat file is for me. Though I have my gears files there as well (but I can't open the anti cheat file listed within the gears program.)

    I see you are having a bit of trouble with Gears 5, try doing this to see if it helps so you can get the game installed and working;

    try checking here to see if anything related to Gears 5 shows up and delete everything; To actually uninstall the game and delete it completely, go to your Settings, System, Storage, Temporary Files, and it’s listed
    in Delivery Optimization Files.
