Gears 5 Replica Crimson Lancer MK3 Skin

So I bought the Gears 5 crimson lancer replica and I got a code for a skin. I went and redeemed my skin to the Microsoft website and it says I own it. I play Gears 5 on steam and when I went to see if I got the skin it was not in the game. does the code
not work on the steam version of Gears 5? do I need to buy the Microsoft store version of the game?

Thank you! I was worried that I wasted my code and I was not gonna be able to use any of my skins I got from codes.

Nope, the codes only work for Microsoft Store items. You need to get the MS Store version on PC or Xbox to see your items.

You can also get the Crimson Omen skins in the Gears 3 Controller ( I know, as I did purchase the controller and the codes are there)

- As for just a Lancer skin. Not really sure. Those cards look like they are only for other countries.

It was announced today that the Veteran Gear achievement would also unlock gold skins for all 5 weapons (hammerburst, lancer, retro lancer, gnasher, and sawed off).

I got the epic edition because id rather have the statue than the lancer. Plus I have the replica lancer from Gears 2, and I much prefer the lancer to the retro. Enjoy it when you get it though!
