Gears 5 only host has full audio. Win10 Xbox

Basically what is in the title.

3 of us trying to play the Co-op campaign and everytime one of us hosts the game, the host can hear the full audio - while the two others can only hear a few sound effects.

We've tried changing audio quality settings in ini files, switching on or off Atmos, and tried stereo and surround sound devices. (Edit: Have also tried changing audio quality resample and bit depth in windows)

It's very consistent in that it's always the host that gets a perfect experience. The game was working perfectly yesterday through two updates but upon trying to play today with a new update in place (and the game wont allow us to play without said update)
we have run into this wall that makes the game practically unplayable.

Putting this out there because I've not been able to find anyone else with the exact issue. Though, perhaps I'm not searching hard enough.

Hi Cao,

Gears 5 right now its experiencing a lot of errors, maybe you are experiencing one of those.

All of you try updating your audio drivers and doing the following recomended by the GOW support website

thanks for the reply.

This is the only game. However, I currently only own Gears and Minecraft through the MS Store/XBox.

Also I do not have a console but am playing on PC/Win10.

I live in canada and honest to god the only way to get into a ranked match is to have a full party and an American lobby host. Check the Gears of War 2 forums for other players. Been like this for a long time.

For someone who has played all the gears games, Gears of War 5 hands down easily beats Gears of War 4. The only thing lacking right now in Gears 5 is content.
