Gears 5 Not Launching on Xbox

I continue to get the error code: (0x8b050033) every time I try to start Gears 5 and when I go to updates I repeatedly see that I have no updates in my games and apps. I have restarted my Xbox multiple times and internet. In the past I have never had success
with the support team fixing any problem I've had. Any Ideas?

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to hopefully get your console to install and run this new game. I can totally understand your eagerness to play as well as any confusion felt so far. I suggest trying the steps outlined in our Troubleshoot
game or app installation problems on Xbox One support article.

When you get the chance, give that article a look through, try those steps and let us know how that helped.

Gears 5 is now listed as down on the service alerts site. Just sit tight and hopefully it'll be sorted by the end of today

Apparently there is an update for it but the patch hasn't been released yet? I'm assuming we're just going to have to play the waiting game

Is there not quicker way to fix this? I'm not particularly fond of having to wait hours for the game to download again to see if it might be working???

Try uninstalling/reinstalling the game. That will help many times with issues.
