Gears 5 dropping weapon if running

Hello,

I have a very strange problem in Gears 5.

When I press A Button and start running my characters drops the active weapon. I can't do nothing!

The Controller Layout is Standard and I tried different controllers. All have the same Problem.

I reset my console but the Problem still exists.

And if I press the D-Pad to the left nothing happens. I can't choose the left weapon.

I dont have problems in other games (Forza, Fortnite...)

Someone any idea?

I had the same problem and this fixed it!!!

Some how 'D-PAD LEFT' was assigned the A Button, so pressing d pad left did what A does by default, which is 'drop weapon'.

I went through two or three older controllers, did a hard reboot, and almost re-installed, but am glad i found this!!

I looked at a different controll scheme early, but never made any changes.... until somehow this setting was changed for me and without my knowing.

Quick update, tried to play Gears 5 on my Xbox One X today and the glitch was on my console too!!! It started on my PC and carried right over to my Xbox.
[Mod Removed - See Guidelines] this has to be a some server glitch that carries over with your profile/sync. Wow this is really bad.

This is strange, at least with me so far nothing has happened to the weapons, only achievements and crashes. Is this happening from the beginning of the game or from somewhere in the game that started?

I've contacted The Coalition on Twitter about this. This issue only occurs on my PC, I don't have any problems on my Xbox One X.

I have never heard of this issue and I play Gears 5 almost daily, if I were you I would contact the support of The Coalition and tell them about this.
