Gears 5 download game pass pc beta

I was able to play gears 5 on the first day of its early release with the game pass on PC, even so the next few days. Then on its actual release date i think it had an update and it wouldn't download or even let me play the game. Now I cant uninstall it,
install it, play it, or do anything. Any help on what is going on or what I need to do?

I've tried reinstalling the PC beta app. i tried other games and other games download and play fine. It's just gears 5. I also have the newest version of windows. It seemed like my issues happened when I installed the most recent update.

I had the same problem, download the latest version of windows 10 updated 10/5/2020.then reinstall xbox games pass pc ( beta)

then delete gears 5 and then try to download again using games pass beta . It should now reinstall the upgraded version of gears 5

do not reinstall or do a clean version of windows 10 . Its microsofts not doing enough to keep you informed.

It tells you on the game on the bottom right you need the updated windows 10 to run the game

Also, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will have access to the Ultimate Edition of Gears 5.

Well, the service is still in beta on the PC side, and the downloading could be caused by something other than a Game Pass subscription.

Hi,

You can only download Gears 5 from the Windows Store if you purchase the digital game. This is why the message appears.

To download it for PC Game Pass you need to download the The Pass App.

Sorry to hear it. Have you tried doing a restart on your PC? Sometimes this needs to be done after a game update.
