Gears 5 doesnt want to start

    Gears 5 doesnt want to start


    I open gears 5 and wait for the startup animation to finish and open tge main menu, i then press A to continue and it gives me an infinite loading screen and ive unplugged the xbox and plugged it back in, and uninstalled it but it still gives me the infinite loading screen

    Hi Quintin, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    ​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Reset and keep my games & apps.

    Only played a little of Gears of War 1 and none of the others

    It's good to have the entire story, but you can really start wherever you want.

    Gears 4 is a good starting point if you don't want to go through the original trilogy. Gears 5 has a recap of everything that happened (in case you feel like you need to know more about what happened).

    My suggestion would be to look up the cutscenes of Gears 1-3 (I'm sure Youtube has compilations somewhere). Judgement doesn't matter, you can pretend that doesn't exist. Then start with 4 and then 5.

    Only played a little of Gears of War 1 and none of the others

    I have done the same thing as most of them mentioned here. GOW4 first and then all other games later. But I would say Gears 5 is at another level.
    I can get behind this. If you want to play Gears 5 ASAP, definitely check out Gears of War 4 before hand. If you don't have the time or desire, they do recap it before starting Gears 5 which was super nice!

    Yeah. The install disc requires 8gb of space. So it wouldn't be able to install on the 4gb. You would need either a hard drive or a flash drive.
