    Gears 5 - Cannot log into Xbox live profile


    Hi,

    Purchased Gears 5 via Steam on Windows 10. Downloaded and installed fine.

    Cannot play the game, it starts just fine - when I try to hit enter to play at the main screen it states it cannot connect to an Xbox Live profile, I have a profile which I can log in and out of on the web and my xbox one.

    I cannot use c to change the xbox live profile, nothing happens.

    If I run Gears 4 on the same Windows PC it starts and connects to my Xbox Live profile just fine,..

    The difference here is that Gears 5 was purchased via Steam.,

    Appreciate any help.

    I just got the game off Steam and I have the same Issue... What the hell is going on? Is this a Microsoft trick of some sort? Know issues on a brand new game.. I will be returning it tomorrow if no fix.
    I have been having he same exact issue as well...any fix yet!?

    I'm having similar problem with GTA 5.

    My microst account is all set up but I get an error that says I don't have the correct permissions to play GTA Online live.

    I have an Xbox360.

    How do I fix it so I can play live?
