Gears 4 pre-order issues

Okay.So I've decided to come here to see if anyone HERE can help me with this issue, as I've called support and they can't seem to really do squat on their end.

I pre ordered Gears of War 4 on my Xbox one s on or around August 7th, it tried to take money out of my account this past Sunday (October 2nd 2016), and there was nothing on my account at the time, nor on my cards.The same day I go out and purchase $60
worth of Microsoft credit (which is still there), and called up support and asked them to cancel my pre-order so that I can repurchase the game from the xbox app so that it would take the payment out instantly.

They tell me that they have no option to cancel the pre-order due to the game failing to get the payment, and to try and follow the instructions in the email that allowed me to "update payment method".

Okay, so I try to do this, but when I do, the only payment it allows me to use is my card only, it doesn't even have a selection for my $60 in Microsoft credit, I even tried removing all other payment methods and it just asked me to add one, without the
option again to use the $60, and I tell them this over the phone......

So, after a while of holding, etc.... they say I have to wait for the system to try to take out the payment again and let it fail and once it does this, it will automatically cancel the pre-order....

So I suck it up and wait, today is Saturday the 8th, and it's still not tried to take out the payment at all, I called them earlier (October 7th) to tell them this, and yet again, they have no options to cancel the frigging pre-order....

I had this happen to a game that I pre ordered before that I called up and canceled (it was NBA 2K17), it was supposed to be cancelled, but tried to take the charges out, and thankfully no money was on the account and it failed, but it only took two days
before it tried again, failed, and auto cancelled the preorder...

This seems to be taking too long, and Gears 4 releases Tuesday, and I'm going to be *** if I miss out on the pre-order stuff and or don't get to even play this on the day of release..

I don't know what the heck else to do other than come here.......

Have not received any Gears 4 Ultimate codes

Hi there, I have not received my pre-order Gears 4 Ultimate codes: Gears 1,2,3,Judgement or the pre-order 'thank-you' sent by Xbox Support.

 

Proof ALL EDITIONS OF GEARS OF WAR 4 GET PREORDER DLC... now issue me with my code.

Sorry to hear it. Unfortunately no one here can assist with this. Only phone support can assist with billing issues. I would suggest contacting them again to see if you have better luck with a different agent.

At the very least they should be able to switch the payment method over to the currency on your account.
