    Gears 4 Download Codes


    I bought Gears of War 4 from the Xbox Store on my Xbox One console on October 13th. When I bought it, the game description said that I would receive download tokens for the other four Gears of War games sent to me in my Xbox Messages and I still haven't
    received anything. I chatted with Lyka G from Microsoft Support and I was told to post my issue here and that an Xbox Support Expert would help me with the problem. Hopefully this gets worked out soon because I'd like to go back and play the old games again,
    they've always been some of my favorite games of all time. Hope this gets resolved soon.

    Didn't receive GOW legacy codes for pc

    I bought the Gears of War 4 Ultimate Edition from BestBuy. I didn't received my download codes for Gears of War 1, 2, 3, and Judgment. I only received the download code for Gears of War 4.

    Purchase Codes not working

    I purchased Gears of War 4 which came with 4 codes to download the 360 versions. I have been able to download 2 of the 4 games. When I try to use the code for either Gears of War or even Gears of War 3 I am getting an error code. Can you assist?

    The Xbox One S console comes with a download code for Gears 4, which should give you the online messages download codes for Gears 1-3.

    The fine print on the console says that "to qualify [for Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3 and Gears of War: Judgment] purchase and play Gears of War 4 on Xbox Live by 31 December 2016. Must be 17+" -- Have you played Gears 4 on Xbox Live yet?

    Microsoft Store wont let me install Gears 5 without also installing Gears or War 4

    I bought the key/code from a 3rd party reseller. Its downloading right now and in my library, it's called "Gears 5 and bonus Gears of War 4".

    Region free games??? Purchase xbox in one country and buy games in another country.

    This seems no longer to be true.

    Games purchased from other regions will play if physical disk, but any connected download codes will not work.

    There are issues for example with the Gears of War 1-3 codes (included with Gears of War collection) and the Fallout 3 codes (that came with Fallout 4).

    You would have received the correct codes. As it states in the game's description: For a limited time, purchase and redeem your copy of Gears of War 4 and get the entore Xbox 360 Gears of War collection for use on Xbox One!

    So the codes are meant for console use not, Windows use. Gears 4 is the only one that's available in the Windows Store, so there would not be a way to download the 360 collection through Windows.

    Keep in mind that Gears of War collection codes will continue to go out in waves. Please check out the Gears of War 4 store description for
    information on how these codes go out. This includes Gears of War 4 codes included in the Gears of War 4 Xbox One S bundle.
    Once that code is redeemed on your account, you should receive your games within 30 days.



    To qualify, purchase and redeem Gears of War 4 on Xbox Live by December 31 2016. Tokens for download will be sent in waves through Xbox Live in-dash message system within one month of redemption. Must be 17+. Xbox One, broadband internet (ISP fees apply)
    and Xbox Live membership required. Not available in all markets. See www.GearsofWar.com for the latest information.
