So I put horde on last night and forgot how much fun it is and also realised I need to clear more of the achievements for horde, beast and Co op stuff, free anytime after 9pm once my kids are in bed so anyone in the same position looking to pick up some
gamerscore before 4 comes out feel free to add me

Gears of War 2 golden lancer

The veteran gear achievement will get you the golden guns in gears 2 and gears 3.

Achievements not unlocking.

I am currently playing all 3 of the gears of war games, but, I when I do what is needed to unlock an achievement, it does not unlock. I am trying to get the Chrome Camo's on gears of war 3 by unlocking certain achievements in the other 2 gears games.

I have every achievement for GoW3 with except for like two. Love this game for sure!

I actually can't remember playing gears 3! but according to my achievements I completed it! i love gears games but somehow gears of war 3 = my amnesia

The Golden Lancer in Gears of War 3 can only be obtained by 2 methods.

1. As part of the Limited Edition of Gears of War 2. All who had it in Gears of War 2 will have it in Gears of War 3.

2. The second way to obtain the Gold Lancer is to get the "Veteran Gear" Achievement in Gears of War 2.

Do you own the Limited Edition of Gears of War 2 or have the "Veteran Gear" Achievement in Gears of War 2?

Since you have already unlocked the Veteran Gear Achievement, you will still get the weapons. They use Achievements for the unlocks, as they can not view ranks for Gears 3. So you are GOOD!
