Gears 1 remake coming soon

I don't mind paying again for an improved and updated version.

 

Ditto Genchy and GG,,take my money and give me an updated more detailed and smoother gears 1 and i probably won't play another game till GOW 4

 

@Galactic Geek---Backwards compatible doesn't mean X1 players can play online with 360 players. That is called "Cross-platform" play.

Also everyone seems to think that MS is putting a lot of work into this....all they are doing is porting over the 2007 Windows(PC) version of Gears of War which is a port of the 360 version that runs at higher frames...Yes there is a computer version of
Gears 1 and it had 5 new campaign levels exclusive to PC, it also had a game editor where custom maps, characters, and game modes could be made.

I don't see how anyone could possibly want another console version of it when any PC from 2011 could run the windows version at over 60fps.

 

Not everyone likes to play on PC, derp. Do I see myself getting the remake whenever it comes out? Probably not. I rarely get any games nowadays. Everything I play is free or my girlfriend bought it lol.

I agree Ghostz. I have the CE of Each Gears of War, amd I will own this Day One. Remastered Games are welcome in my library. (Certain Ones that is lol, no Saints Row or Borderlands)

 

They are never going to release GOW4 at the same time as a remaster for GOW1. Who would really pick up and have time for both?

The fact they arent doing the whole trilogy stinks aswell (going by the rumours). £50 for a nearly 9 year old game? Not for me thanks.

 

More supposition on your part, please point me to the link that its £50? They could easily release a remaster before the new GOW is remotely ready for release, it's not even been given a hint of release Date yet and odds are it will be late 2016.

 

gears 4 wont be out for at least 2 years min anyway
