Gears 1 remake coming soon

I think I played through Gears about 5 times with various people. It's not a bad choice for a remake. It's almost 9 years old already??

I wasn't too excited about GoW2. The only part I remember is an emotional part between Dom and his wife because my friend started to sniff and I laughed at him. I've matured since then. And he's still my friend. I also remember climbing through a giant
worm?? I think it was a worm. Lots of blood. Gah.

I don't remember the story of Gears 3 at all because I just wanted to play horde. I impatiently ran through the story just to appease my group.

As far as story goes, I'm going to have to go with the original because it was before Epic decided they had accidentally forgotten to give Marcus and Dom personalities and tried to give them one in 2 & 3.

Hopefully the remastered version has a brilliant horde mode.

Microsoft what happened to your exclusives?

halo 4 is coming soon and a halo 1 remake there will be a gears game after 3 forza new project gotham coming soon and dont forget fable and thats just without thinking about it theres plenty of xbox exclusive games and then you have to take into account
all the xbox live arcade games wich are exclusive theres more than enough exclusive 360 retail and arcade games to keep anybody happy

 

MS PLEASE release the full Gears of War Trilogy as a remaster just like HALO. Nobodoy wants just the first game!!!!

@Genchy a bet about what? that a gears remake is coming? I wont bet because i agree with you.

What im saying is (and this is all hypothetical) say Gears 4 is ready to be released in q1 2016, if they were to remaster gears 1 and release it in q4 2015 i would be willing to bet you would see gears 4 pushed back. If they also plan to release gears 2
and 3 remastered, then surely they are going to push back gears 4 again as to maximise revenue you wouldnt release the games too close together.

This is (in my opinion) how the gears remaster is going to have an effect on gear 4.

Do i particularly want a Gears remake? No. Would i play a Gears remake? its highly likely depending on what else is released

 

I have to agree and give the edge to Gears of War 1 the best. 2, then 3. They are all fantastic in my opinion. And I wish they would have made a Marcus Fenix Collection

 

I'm excited for this because I don't think I ever finished it on 360. Which is weird because I put a lot of hours into 2 and 3. I'm excited to see it come to X1.

 

Then you are in for a treat bowski. If you truly have not beat Gears of War. One had a more "darker" feel to it than 2 and especially 3. I hope these rumors are true.

 

Bowski you will.like General,Raam makes Skorge look like a namby pamby! I doubt he remaster will have a horde mode but you never know I guess.

 

Yeah, beating general Raam on insane was a frustrating experience. My friend almost cried after the 20th+ try. He had a complete freak out, rage quit, but then came back and we finished it.

 

I prefer to play a new gears of war game.

 

Can't wait, the original Gears of War was the best IMO.

 

Yep Raam on insane was a white knuckler! once he was beat the first time he was pretty easy on other Playthroughs for some reason.

 

Battling Raam was epic (No pun intended), I can not wait to go through Gears of War remastered. The game looked fantastic in its day. Still does look solid. And on slightly touched up on Xbox One! I am all in (as I said before)

 

I loved this game, it's one of the few single player games I played through more than once, I never did finish it on insane though

The mp is what made the 360 for me, it's where I met all my current online friends so hopefully it will still have ranked and non ranked playlist. Every night we dipped into the non ranked side, set that playlist to cycle all maps and spend hours upon hours
play each other and with the added bonus of randoms making up the numbers when we didn't have the full 8 players, you know what else was great, been able to boot glitchers ourselves.

I've honestly not had as much fun on an mp game since

MP ,was so much fun and something i looked forward to on friday nights!

I can't wait for this .I wonder if the speed of the game will be more like 2 and 3 ,,i hope it is ..Even though 1 is the best the speed of the other 2 made it hard to go back and play 1 anymore..
