Gears 1 & 3 collection Redeem codes are not working !

Hi XBOX Forums,

I have received 4 redeem codes by xbox one online message as a bonus for purchasing xbox one s gears bundle 2 TB during Black Friday event. 2 codes worked fine and the following 2 codes didn't for unknown reasons.

I contacted the xbox support team and we tried all options to solve it but it failed. I believe these codes are corrupted and need to be exchanged. For your kind info and support please.

CODES WONT REDEEM For Gears Collection

Good Evening to Everyone,

Recently i Purchased the Gears of war 4 game, I have gotten the codes for the rest of Gears Collection. On the first message, it said i have the Codes for Gears of Wars & Gears of war 2.. But the codes are identical, On the Second message were the Codes
for Gears of War 3 & Gears of War Judgement.

Gears or War 1 & 3 whenever i try to redeem it. It say an error has occur try again later.

Gears of War 2 (codes is the exact same code for Gears of war)

I only was able to redeem Gears of War Judgement So far.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

I got the 4 codes for the Gears of War collection that came free from purchasing Xbox One S 1TB Gears of War 4. But Gears of War 1 and Gears of War 3 codes are not working.

 

Please don't post codes on the forums whether they are working or not. These are public so anyone can take them.

Those games are region locked. So in order to download them, your account region has to match your physical location and you have to live in a region where the games are available for download.

 

To piggyback off of this, it definitely sounds like there's a region mismatch happening. Try
migrating your Xbox Live account to match your current physical location and try redeeming the codes again.
