Gears 1 & 3 codes from Gears UE still don't work.

I have tried entering in the codes I got last year from playing Gears UE but Gears 1 & 3 still don't work. Judgment and Gears 2 worked fine.

Received Codes from Xbox Live for Gears of War 1, 2, 3, & Judgement, some don't work

Received a message from Xbox Live shortly after I redeemed Gears 4 UE with codes for BC versions of Gears 1-3 & Gears Judgement, the codes for Gears 2 & Judgement redeemed normally but the others give me an error when I try to redeem them.

Any chance I can get new codes for them?

 

Gears of War 1 & 3 Redemption Codes Won't Work

I've received my Gears of Wars collection codes from Gears of War 4 Pre-order, but the codes for Gears of War 1 & 3 wont work, while the codes for Gears of War 2 & Judgement Day did work. I've contacted chat support multiple times, they've given me new codes
which did not work and finally directed me here for help.

Can you please clarify what the error code is that you're getting? Be sure the region of your account is tied to the correct region of your current locale. Cross-region accounts aren't supported and can cause trouble with redeeming codes.

 

I did buy Gears UE from the EU online store I believe, but my account is Canadian. I'm temporarily staying in the UK. Below is the message I receive.

Hey holy canadian!

If your account is set to Canada, but you're physically located in UK, that would be the reason those errors are occurring. Don't worry, those codes won't expire so you'll be able to redeem them once you return to Canada!
