Gear of war 4 packs

I can't seem to open any of my packs. Everytime I try I keep getting the same message. "Unable to open pack. Please try again." And I'm not able to buy packs from the store with my in game credits. The message I keep getting in the store is "We're having
trouble processing store requests at this time, please try again later"

Everyone else I've talked to doesn't get those messages and aren't having any trouble with the store. If someone knows what's going on would you please let me know.

I enjoy the gear of war 4 gear pack cards . Will they sale the physical gear pack cards. I enjoy collecting them .

Hello! I've seen this issue before, and usually it's because there was a period of high store usage in-game for Gears 4. I know Gears 4 just recently had another monthly update on Monday with some new content, and sometimes during that initial rush for newer
content a lot of players are purchasing and opening packs in-game. This can bog down their store processes, causing a delay or error for some individuals. Fortunately, this usually clears itself up after a while once there are less people all hitting the servers
for the new content.

Based on the timing of your forum post, I'd be willing to bet that the issues you're experiencing are related to the Gears servers being busy with all the updated content and influx of gamers all accessing it at once. Sometimes that lets people through,
sometimes it doesn't, which might explain why others you've spoken to maybe haven't even seen the issue.

Can you confirm if the problem is still happening today? Make sure you've quit and restarted the game, ensure a stable network connection, and try to purchase packs with in-game credits or open existing packs again. If it works, it may have been a brief
issue on the Gears 4 servers.

 

I am still having this issue thus far. I thought after the update that it would fix itself but I'm still not able to open my boxes or buy anything with in game credits.

Have any other ideas what maybe causing it?

I have also tried using my wife's account and her profile works finew and she can open boxes and buy stuff with in fame credits.

I have also tried Uninstall the game and reinstalling it and that didn't work either so I don't know what's going on...

 

Sounds like high store traffic wasn't the issue then. Sorry to hear that you're still having issues. So on the same console, your wife's profile gets the content just fine, but your profile doesn't?

There are a few things that might be worth trying still. It's more troubleshooting rather than pointing to an exact issue, however, since I'm unsure of the exact nature of the problem at this point.

1. Attempt to buy and open the packs via the Gears of War website. If you go to Gears of War - Official Site, sign in with your Xbox account there, and click on the Cards link up top, you might be able to make the
   transactions there. I believe this might help us know if the issue is with the account profile or the console specifically.
2. If your Xbox has been successfully syncing your save online for Gears 4, you might try deleting your save from
   just your local console and then re-syncing. Quit out of the game and in your Storage settings, delete only the local save file for Gears 4. The next time you launch Gears, it should download your most recently synced save file from
   the cloud and re-sync it with your local console. Make sure you do not delete the cloud save when doing this. Only delete the local copy. If you're not comfortable deleting saves, I understand.
3. Try reaching out to The Coalition (makers of Gears 4) on Twitter to see if they have any pointers here. They may know of an issue, or a way to solve what you're experiencing that I'm not aware of. The Coalition Studio (@CoalitionGears) | Twitter.

4. (Long shot, but worth mentioning) Gears 4 is an Xbox Play Anywhere title, as long as you own it digitally. Do you have a PC that could possibly run the game? If so, you could try installing the game on your PC and attempting to access the in-game store
   content that way. This is probably the more extreme test here, and I know not everyone has the game digitally or a PC that can run it, but it might help. If anything, it would help us once again point to your profile on the console being the source
   of the frustration.

I've tried everything I've posted on all the forms and yourub the only one that seems to get back to me. I'm still having the problem. I still can't access my boxes or buy anything with the in game credits. I have over 40 unopened boxes. I think what bugs
me the most about it is that I want to know what's in them lol. If you have any other ideas I'm open to trying what ever you can think of.

I've tried everything that you've suggested and nothing is working and no one has answered me. I'm just really frustrated cause I spent so much on this game and can't use some of the features. If you have any other ideas I'm all ears.

Are you trying to purchase the in game packs on the console?

How about other in game add ons are you having the same issue?

I can now open my loot crates. How I did it was I went into my character selection screen and I scrapped one of my character. So I think if someone tries that it should allow you to open your loot crates and buy things from the in game store with your credits.
I think my profile was stuck on an infinite loop and once I created scrap then it stopped the infinite loop and put my profile back to normal. So I hope that helps anyone else that was having that problem.
