    I bought a launch day 360... Worked great up to the day I traded for a slim. I know I'm one of the lucky ones, but that system gave me no trouble. The idea of the 'One' is great... But so far it's a fail. I can't tell if its a hardware issue, a software
    issue, or both together. Like I said however, it is still better than the competition.

    I'm sorry to see any frustrations with the console! First, welcome to the Xbox One family!

    You can play Xbox One games without internet, however you will need internet initially. This is to set up the console and ensure you are on the latest update. After you install your games, then you can set the console as your
    Home console, disconnect from the internet, and then set the console into

    Offline Mode    . This should be let you play the games you've installed on the console while not connected.

    Let me know if this works for you! If not, we can dig into what might be happening on the console together. Garbage I should have bought a laptop instead of a Xbox one. :)

    Virtual Routers, an Xbox One, DHCP Server Errors and my gosh this is difficult

    Other possibility would be to have a router connected to your wall outlet instead the laptop and then connect the laptop and the One to it.

    So the day I decide to buy an Xbox One this is how Microsoft welcomes me. Can't believe this garbage! Well i guess i should have trusted my friend and bought a PS4! Whatever, I will sell the xbox one, titan fall, the controller, and Fifa 14 and be taken
    for about $200 in the process but at least I will have a gaming system that is able to keep up with their consumers. Thanks a lot Microsoft!
