Gamtertag Pic for Child Account

It is extremely frustrating that my son needs to suffer and can't customize his Gamertag pics because of the supposed excuse that other people are posting pics that aren't suitable for children. Adults can still customize and post unsuitable pics!

And if this is the case then why does it even prompt when I change my gamertag pic that it won't display until verification? If "questionable" pics are getting through then why is this even needed?

Xbox should be more for kids and teens than adults but it seems that adults can still post whatever the heck they want while child accounts aren't able to!!!!!

Hold on ... so I can still customize his Gamertag name but not his pic?!?!

Well that makes sense because inappropriate content can't appear in Gamertag names. =/

If you're wanting to use a custom gamerpic, he would need an adult account. There is currently no way to use a custom gamerpic on child accounts.

I know this isn't the answer you were looking for. However, I suggest you submit a suggestion via
UserVoice.

I do not believe there is a way to change the child's profile age, it must reach maturity.

Currently there is no way to allow child accounts to upload a custom pic.

Does that mean there is also no way for a parent to upload a custom pic to be used for the child account?

Hi,

there is no way, to remove a gamertag from an existing account.

The gamtertag is bound to an account which might be in use.
