    Dear friends, I am a gold member for 2 month (paid for membership for 12 months). I am trying do download the new game "dungeon siege 3", but the download requires a payment. Why it is not free ? Please advise. Vito

    Being charged for what should be free.

    You aren't a gold member you are silver or free if you are part of home gold only the account with the gold can queue xbox 360 games with gold games or as home gold doesn't carry over to xbox 360

    Yeah I'm gold member, I can play online games and parties and download the games with gold but it says I'm silver/free

    are you doing it from the console or the website. if you do it from the console it will always ask to have a payment method on file the game is still free. the ONLY way to not have to worry about that is if you 'buy' the game from the console good luck.

    Dungeon Siege III is not available for the Xbox One console until November 16. Please be patient and wait to claim that game until then. Thank you.

    It's not about being "greedy" it's offering it to Gold Members for free first, and then "Free" members are added into the mix later. You aren't excluded forever. It's a perk of having a Gold Membership. Greedy would be if they said no, you need a Gold membership
    and this will NEVER be available to "Free" or Silver members.
