    Gampass ultimate family plan for cloud gaming


    Hi,

    I have a gamepas ultimate account, that Im really happy with and I want to share with my kids. Currently we already have this option by setting a console as my home console. But this option is missing for cloudgaming. If I want to play with my kids, on the cloud, I will have to buy a seperate subscription for each kid. It would become quite costly to pay 4 memberships. If Microsoft does not enable the option to share the acount for mobile gaming, does Microsoft atleast offer a familyplan to help lower the total cost of cloudgaming for a family of gamers?

    If not now, does Microsoft consider offering a solution for families in the near future?

    Im posting this as a discussion - not a question - as I would like to see how many community members are in the same situation, where multiple accounts in one family generate a high cost/month and who would consider signing up to such a family plan.

    I recently got game pass for Xbox cloud gaming on my smart tv. It seems to only work for one profile though. Why does it not apply to our family?

    If you live in Chile, Columbia, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, New Zealand, South Africa and Sweden, you would need to purchase the Game Pass Ultimate Friends and Family plan.

    Otherwise, only the account that purchases Ultimate will have access to cloud gaming.

    Cloud gaming is only available for the account that purchases the subscription. So if they want to use that, they would each need their own subscription.

    You may have been part of the Game Pass Ultimate Friends and Family plan which would allow each account to be able to access cloud gaming, but that preview recently ended.

    Why do 3 of the 4 family members sharing Gamepass Ultimate get kicked about 20 minutes into a co-op game?

    Do you mean friends and family plan?

    If not then no ultimate isn't shared yet unless you are in Ireland or Colombia test betas of friends and family plan

    Only the primary subscriber can use cloud and all other would have to sign ij the main account to download

    And sign out and back in on their own profile to play

    Ultimate account not compatible with family

    If you set the console as your Home console, you can share the games from Game Pass with your son, but in order to access all benefits of the subscription (including cloud gaming) the subscription would have to be on his account. Currently, there are no family plans for Ultimate and nothing can be transferred between accounts.
