gamming suffix help

i changed my gaming tag but i forgot i had another account with that name so i changed the other account but my main account still has the suffix is there a way i can fix that without paying 20$ to change it and back so it doesn't have a suffix

If you’re assigned a suffix, the # symbol and suffix appear everywhere except in friends lists. You don’t see suffixes of friends in your friends list and they don’t see yours in their friends list. Your suffix is used in games so that everybody knows
who’s who.

Also refer to the Xbox gamertag FAQ where it says under the question ‘Does the suffix always appear next to my gamertag?’:

If you’re assigned a suffix, the # symbol and suffix appear everywhere except in friends lists. You don’t see suffixes of friends in your friends list and they don’t see yours in their friends list. Your suffix may also appear in games that support the modern gamertag system so that everybody knows who’s who.

Thanks for the reply. You can view the gamer tag
update here. The suffix will show in games. The only place it doesn't show is in friends list.
