Gaming speaker system, how to get it to work with the xbox one??

HI,

Ive recently just bought

Genius GX SW-G5.1 80W 5.1 Channel Gaming Speaker
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00AGSSMJM?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

Problem i'm having is its not working, basically the subwoofer at the back is an aux hole and on the end is a RCA jacks red and white. When i plug these into my tv i just presumed it would play whats coming out of my tv through the speakers, how wrong i
was.

Anyone got any suggestions or am i being an idiot and its a simple solution?

Thanks in advance

:)

bandwidth of xbox one. 200gbs total due to esram.
no it does dude. that's not marketing speak.
Bandwidth in a system is not additive. That's not how a complex system like a computer works. "200GB/sec" is marketing speak.
They
do, but they're being forced to dumb it down into a single number. Bigger == better to the masses so you get "200GB/sec".
Neither the Xbox One nor the PS4 are better than a midrange gaming PC today.

Gaming speaker system, how to get it to work with the xbox one??

Doesn't look like it has an optical in socket so I would say you'd need an optical converter

www.amazon.co.uk/.../ref=nb_sb_ss_i_0_11

Run the optical cable from the xbox one to the converter & then the rca cables from the converter into the subwoofer. You wont get true 5:1 sound though.

If there's another solution i'm sure someone more tech savvy than me can help

Is it possible to let Xbox one support Bose C5 speaker???
i just wanna ask will Xbox one support Bose C5 in the future or i have to get new speaker for it ???
You want to know if the Xbox One will support the

Bose Companion 5
computer "speaker" system?

No, it won't since it's not just a speaker system. The Companion 5 is a combination USB sound card and speaker system. It's the USB sound card part that Xbox One won't support.

Your only option, and this assumes you leave the PC on, is to use a digital to analog audio adapter and appropriate cabling to connect the Xbox One's optical out to the control puck's audio in. You'll have access to stereo sound from the Xbox One.

Stereo sound for Xbox One

There are a few options to get audio output to RCA (red & white) speakers with the Xbox One.

- If your HDTV has an audio output port for external speakers, usually in the form of a 3.5mm jack or separate RCA outputs, you can configure your TV to disable the built-in speakers and output all audio to what's connected to that output.

- Xbox One has an optical port for digital audio output. Personally, that's how I get my audio going to my soundbar. If your speaker system has an optical port, you might be in luck.

- There are various, specialized adapters you can get online, like HDMI-in to HDMI-out (video) + RCA (audio).

Hope this helps!

...i want to get speakers and microphone to work (i need 2 jacks) and i don't want to plug any wire to controller, i want to be allowed to talk in game and groups, any idea?
Is there a reason you don't want to use a cable in your controller?

Because that's the only way to get a microphone working on the Xbox One, besides buying a wireless headset.

As for speakers: If you don't want cables on your controller, your only way to get sound from speakers is either to connect a digital capable sound system to the console via HDMI or optical cable, or have a TV/Monitor decode the sound from HDMI and then
use the stereo headphone jack on your TV.

There are no other methods to connect speakers or microphones to the console
