Gaming services not running...Xbox game pass unusable

I usually have no issues with new updates of gaming services, but sometimes you need to uninstall completely and then install them back

Open RegEdit as an administrator and delete the following Services:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServices]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServicesNet]

Reboot PC

Install gaming service like you would normally

After this you could try with PowerShell

Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type powershell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and then select Run as administrator.

In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.

Restart your device and try to install the game again.

Chat not available for this service. Cant use series x since December and game pass ultimate goes unused too. I'm afraid they just don't have ability to fix as there's too many problems and supply problems too

Seems that your game pass isn't recognized. Go to your Microsoft account, service and subscription to see if your game lass is still on

The other games not in game pass catalogue is running ok?

Oh, that could be why, Francis. I am afraid pirated games will not run on the Xbox app but if you own a game pass, you can reinstall it from the store to play it. The games on the Xbox app will still run for as long as you have gaming services. If you can no longer install the Xbox identity provider, it is best to get the original copy instead or get a game pass to play it.

I've been using Game pass for months all fine. It now says there are several things that need to be installed, Gamin services etc. There is a green bar at the top saying this. When I click it, it sends me to a menu of things that need to be installed. When
I click install button for each one it attempts to install, but then the button reverts back to install again.

Nothing has worked. I've tried resetting MS Store wsreset etc.

I've tried uninstalling Game Pass

I've tried restarting all related services.

Gaming Services is no present in the list of services btw.

I'm at the point where I've tried everything.

I now need MS support with this as I'm paying for nothing.

Hey. I am having the same exact issues. I recently signed up again with Xbox, for game pass on my pc, service isn't letting me play fallout or any other game, even though I paid and I am enrolled. Please fix this Xbox.
