Gaming Services Installation

I have been following various steps to try to reinstall gaming services, but nothing seems to work. Whenever I try to type "start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN" into Windows Powershell (Admin), then it will open up the Microsoft Store and show a loading screen. However, it will close a couple seconds after that. If I open up the store before typing it in, then the same thing will still happen. I cannot play my PC Game Pass Games without it, so this is very frustrating.

Thanks for your reply for my issue.

I have gone through the solution you have provieded, but no luck the issue is still presists.

For reset Windows store cache and reset Microsoft Store, nothing happened after running the exe.

For deleting registry, I couldn't find Gaming Service register in my Local Machine, seems it isn't installed into registry.

For Windows Store troubleshooter, I found that I doesn't have the option for Microsoft store troubleshooting and I have done all Windows Update.

Try this: Go to Windows settings >> Apps >> Xbox >> Advanced >> Repair & Reset.

After doing that, Perform the same steps for Gaming Services and Microsoft Store as well.

I understand that you are having problems installing the game service on your PC. Here are some additional solutions you could try:

Reset Windows Store cache: You can do this by running the wsreset.exe command in the executor.

Reset the Microsoft Store: To do this, press Windows keys + R, type WSRESET and press Enter. You can also reset the store from the apps settings.

Delete Gaming Services registry entries: To do this, open the registry editor (type regedit in the Run box), locate the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \\ SYSTEM \\ CurrentControlSet \\ Services and delete the services “GamingServices” and " GamingServices.Net".

Run the Windows Store troubleshooter.

Check for updates to both the Microsoft Store and the game.

you get that error because gaming services is not installed or updated, gaming services can only install and launch on standard pc architecture and not arm based devices.

the xbox app requires gaming services to be installed to be able to download most xbox app games (gamepass games).
