When trying to restart the service "Windows could not start the Gaming Services service on Local Computer. Error 1060: The specified service does not exist as an installed service."

I'm having the same problem.

Trying to start a game it takes me to the gaming services app on the windows store.

I've been trying for hours to get this to work but no matter what i tried nothing works.

The GamingServices service that should be starting automatically just isn't starting.

If i try to start the service manually i get the following error.

Windows could not start the GamingServices service on Local Computer

Error 5: Access is denied

In that case, I recommend doing a clean install and formatting the hard drives.

I already resetted my machine (Protecting personal files but not apps and settings) because I had other problems about this and no one could help me. Not bad as before but problem still appears even after reseting. So an in place upgrade with media creation tool is unlikely to help.
