    Gaming Services error BLOCKS Game Pass


    Had another fateful Gaming Services update today. Yes, it killed game pass again. EV. ER. Y. TIME! Why? what is it doing? Last time it took so many reinstalls uninstalls deleting of registry entries. You really expect everyone just to go editing and deleting entries in registry to fix this. I'm going to see if i can block any further auto updates of gaming services to stop this from happening again.

    Are you playing on PC or Xbox? You’re playing on PC the fact that it’s on the Ubisoft service may be blocking it from counting. You really just need to start a Game Pass game so any game will do

    Hi Bramrossenaar. My name is Kyle and I'm an independent advisor.

    I'm sorry you are experiencing issues downloading Game Pass games. The error 401 suggests that your connection to Microsoft services is being blocked. Make sure you don't have any VPNs or other network software running as this could interfere with your connection to Microsoft servers.

    If that doesn't work please try power cycling your router. Unplug it from the mains, leave it unplugged for 10 minutes, then plug it back in. Then try downloading Game Pass games again.
