Gaming Services download fails at Acquiring License

Have you tried to reinstall your gaming services app and tried all the suggested troubleshooting steps here https://support.xbox.com/help/games-apps/troubl...?

Might try these steps:
Please go to "This PC" then open the drive where you want to install your games.
Then rename the "WindowsApps" folder to "WindowsApps.old".
Restart the PC.

If the error occurs again, try to rename the "WpSystem" folder to "WpSystem.old" and restart again.

What exactly is the error message you get there?

Did you only try to download the launcher from the Microsoft Store? Please try download it from here https://aka.ms/minecraftClientGameCoreWindows.

To isolate the issue, are you able to install other Xbox games from the Store just fine?

I downloaded the launcher from the Minecraft website originally, but it would say "there was trouble connecting to your Microsoft account" and then redirect me to the store

I am unable to download any games from the Microsoft store. I tried getting both Dominoes and Mahjong to test, and they give me the same error

I received an update to the os and the video app, but the issue is still the same.
